Meditation Tales w/ DANCE SPIRIT
Now, more than ever, we need to find a way to ourselves; a way to our authentic self that many of us forget to turn to; a way to our most basic of needs, to awareness, to a mindful way of life.
With the world at a still, humans still find ways to rush, stress and worry about what “it would or could be”. We’re - pretty much - the only species that often forget the meaning of slowing down and answering to our basic needs. We constantly plan for the future and often forget to live in the now. We’re set on achieving complex goals but tend to crumble under the simplicity of living easy, free, unburdened by a racing mind.
All reasons why we’d like to share a special piece of art, aimed at making you rethink the way you perceive your day to day experience.
Our friends over at Dance Spirit - Reagan & Chris - have long been dedicated to understanding the way the mind works and, in doing so, learn to work it in ways that benefit us.
In recent years, the boys have dove deeper into the works of Joe Dispenza - a modern scholar, philosopher and medical doctor (to name a few), whose book "Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One” aims to teach others to think in ways they’d never thought beneficial; to program their minds to help them live with ease; to move through social norms without the pressure of having to be, but rather - simply being.
Further inspired by the works of this modern intellect, Reagan spent hours putting together a music piece, remixing one Joe Dispenza’s “Blessing of the Energy Centres” meditation and composing the piece around the author’s various meditations.
The musical part is meant to correspond with your body’s natural vibrations, further helping you relax into the practice and really listen to your own, unique needs.
We’ve linked it for you HERE. Because it must be shared.
Because now - more than ever - we need to learn to practice self-awareness, to literally listen to the beat of our bodies. Which is why, we are eternally inspired when friends of ours take inspiration from their own practice and masterfully turn it into an art piece for the mind and the soul.
We hope it helps you, as much as it helped us.
To gain perspective, to slow down, to listen to your own beat.
It’s what we need right now.
With blessings of gratitude, from us to you.
Stay tuned for an upcoming interview, where the Dance Spirit boys sat down and answered some of our most curious questions. Coming up to all platforms later next month.
