As part of our commitment, we unequivocally state that we do not use any animal products in the creation of our garments. Furthermore, we are proud to announce that we have taken a definitive stance by no longer stocking products containing silk, feathers and down, bone, teeth or shell (including mother-of-pearl), cashmere, and mohair.

Silk, often associated with luxury and elegance, has a hidden story that raises ethical concerns. The traditional process of sericulture, which involves silk production, is marred by practices that compromise the welfare of silkworms.
In the silk-making process, farmers create an artificial environment for moths, where they lay their eggs on special paper. After hatching, the larvae are fed a steady diet of mulberry leaves. As they grow, they spin cocoons to complete their life cycle. Tragically, the sericulture process typically involves killing the silkworm by boiling or steaming it alive, as they are unable to emerge from their cocoon due to domestication.
